Best of success to the Crocs

Pilates at the Pool!

There’s a new way to have fun and be fit at the EARC!

Many of you know Kim Pierce, a fellow member of the EARC.  She will be offering Pilates classes at the pool on Monday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and Friday mornings at 8:00 a.m. for $12 per person per class, payable on a per class basis. This does coincide with swim practice times, but all members are welcome to join us.  You will need to bring your own yoga mat, and Kim will provide other equipment as needed.

Kim has been teaching Pilates for over 8 years.  As anyone who knows her would guess, she is very approachable and supportive, so beginners are welcomed.  She can also give quite a workout to those who are already in an exercise routine!

What’s new this season at the EARC

As mentioned in an earlier post, the EARC board has tackled many tasks this off-season – here’s a partial list of what has been accomplished:

  • new entrance landscaping
  • wireless access for members
  • new fan system in bathrooms
  • new pump and filtration system
  • new paint in a bunch of different places
  • concrete repair

This is only a partial list! Much has been accomplished – with your help and support, we’ll continue to enhance the experience at the EARC!
