The EARC is part of the Blue Ridge Aquatic League. We appreciate our amazing coaches, volunteers, swimmers and parents who make every season so wonderful. Signups for CROCS opens in early May each year.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Practice Schedule: Daytime practice will begin in early June and run Monday-Friday from 8-10 am. CROCS 10 and under will practice from 8:00 am – 9:00 am and CROCS 10+ will practice from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. There is no practice requirement, but we find 3 days a week is about perfect. We will let families pick days this year and not assign days unless it becomes necessary. Practices will begin after the pool opens on Memorial Day weekend. Check the calendar for the full schedule.
Team suits: Not required, but it sure is fun to see all the Crocs in black and green. Here is a link to the team store: East Asheville CROCS
There will be a parent meeting before the season begins. Past Croc parents: please bring any used suits you’d like to pass on to another swimmer.
All swimmers will be given a CROCS swim cap and t-shirt covered by registration fees.
Does my child qualify? CROCS swimmers must be members of the EARC and able to swim 25 yards on their front and back. Children 6 & under don’t have to have perfect strokes, just be able to swim across the pool and we’ll work on strokes during the season. Younger swimmers may come to a few early practices so the coaches can evaluate readiness for the swim team.
